The wasp

I would study the wasp because I want to learn more about them so I wouldn't be as scared of them. Their creepy but unique bodies fascinate me and scares me when one is flying at me. I never knew they were 2 inches long, but then again it never wanted to measure a live one. I think it's interesting that their nest are located underground. I once stepped on a wasp nest by accident and now I never walk bare footed outside. Wasps can cause problems when they build their nests by houses or buildings. Someone will be surprise to walk on or run into a wasps nest. Ouch!

Erik Weihenmayer

I think Erik Weihenmayer is an inspiration. He proved that he can climb Mt. Everest even though he was blind. He reminds us that any one despite their disabilities can do anything that they are willing to try. He did have help climbing to the top of Mt. Everest and he gives them credit because he probably couldn't do it all by himself.

My inspiration

The person who has inspired me the most is my mom. She wants me to work harder and become successful when i grow up. She is always there to help me with homework or any other problems I may have. My mom tells me how important it is to volunteer in community work and join more school activities so I can go collage and get a job. She also pushed me to join swim team. I am grateful that she pushed me to join the team and I now realize that it is fun winning medals and making new friends with the upper class men.

My digital footprint

My digital footprint is very positive. I am aware of the dangers out on the web and am careful of what I share to the world. I am also aware that my information and pictures that I post can be on the internet for years even if I delete the information or pictures. My parents make sure that what I put on the internet is safe. I also keep my name and location to myself and add friends that I know. On some websites I keep my profile private so only my friends can see it. You can find me on Myspace, Facebook, and Blogger.

My Favorite holiday Christmas!

My favorite holiday is Christmas. The reason why I like Christmas is because I enjoy listening to the cheerful music. Somethings I also enjoy doing includes decorating the house, making cookies, and decorating the Christmas tree. On Christmas day, I would wake up early to open gifts. Later, I would go to my grandparents house and play Secret Santa. Secret Santa is where you pick a name out of a hat and give that person a gift but, they don't know that you have them as their Secret Santa. My favorite thing about Christmas is that we get a long break of no school!

My fantasy holiday

My fantasy holiday would be called Free Day. On Free Day, people all over the country would do whatever they feel like doing. You could go bungee jumping, skip school, or do something you normally would not do. I would skip school, go to Florida, and have a big party with people my age down their. I think this holiday will allow people to relax and help take a load off their mind.

Climate change

Climate change has not really affected me personally but other parts of the world and even Wisconsin has been affected by climate change. Wisconsin is experiencing warmer winters and snow fall has increased. Animals in Wisconsin are also experiencing the effects of climate change. The number of cold water fish has declined. Ground water is also expected to decline and this could affect our water supply. Wisconsin is not the only place experiencing climate change, other parts of the world are noticing extreme temperatures and animals that are going extinct. If we don't stop the effects of climate change we will experience more extreme temperatures, floods, droughts, and more animals could be endangered. We also will experince long weather patterns. We should all save energy by turning off the lights when not using them and maybe even take a walk to the store on a beautiful day. As part of the student blogging challenge, I wrote a post for BAD 2009 on the topic of climate change.

When I first say this photo, it caught my eye because of the unique color patterns and I love music. I wonder how they designed this photo and where they got the effects from. I hope you enjoy this photo and its creative features.

Interests

Some things that I enjoy is listening to music. I'm not very picky about the genre of music. I mostly like rap, hip/hop, pop, rock, country, techno, etc. Something that I also enjoy is looking up quotes on Photobucket. I like to see the inspirational quotes to help me boost my self esteem. One of my favorite quotes is being happy doesn't mean that life is perfect, it means you look beyond the imperfections.

People from different countries

When I visited different countries I noticed that people my age are a lot like me. They have different customs and beliefs, but we have a lot of hobbies that are alike. Some are in sports similar to what we have and love playing on the computer or their cell phone. Some countries that I've visited don't have fields of crops or live in the country like Seymour. Some live in packed cities or don't have grassy parks. People may have different surroundings, but just because they live somewhere different does not mean they don't have the same interests as People from Seymour do.

homecoming

Homecoming!!

During the week of homecoming we do all sorts of activities and dress up days. We have competitions against freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. Usually the seniors win the competitions but so far were in second place. I didn't really dress up this week because most of the outfits that are required I didn't have. I can't wait till Friday because that's the homecoming game! I have the cutest outfit to wear tomorrow. On Saturday we have the homecoming dance. We usually go out to eat somewhere fancy before the dance and wear our dresses or for boys ties and formal clothes. I'm going to be hanging out with my friend Leisha because my parents aren't going to be able to take me to homecoming.

What I think about english 10.. heck yessness!!

Well, I have English 10 with Mrs.Brogely and we mostly do homework and projects on the computer. This is different for me because in my other reading classes from the past usually don't use computers at all. I like this years English better because we don't have hardly any homework and we use the computers. I could play online all day if I could and for our homework we work on our blogs which tom me is exciting. :]

summer 09

I was mostly busy with swim club and swim team. Whenever I had time me and my family would go up to our cottage. I wasen't able to invite any of my freinds because most of them had other family plans. I was able to have parties and go to wolf river tubing. I hope next summer I can spend more time with my friends. :]
